Qinhuangdao Scinan Specialty Glass Co., Ltd. (SSG for short),situated at the North Industrial Park of key planning area in Qinhuangdao, is a modern joint-venture under China Yaohua Glass Group Corporation and Huishuo Shareholding CO., Ltd. SSG is the first special float glass factory in China while one of the world flat borosilicate glass manufactures. SSG (which is named as Qinhuangdao Yaohua Borosilicate Glass Co., Ltd before) is one of the first specialized enterprises that adopting fully electric melting process to make special glass products throughout the country. In 2006, replying on the technological resource from Yaohua Group Corporation, based on independent innovation, special float glass production line has been essfully put into operation by utilizing “float technology”. The core technology of the line was fully self-developed with up-to-date equipment and machinery, and the dominant products are borosilicate float glass.
